DIY intake info
Hey,
Ive been digging threw the DIYs and if some 1 could clarify some info for me it would be greatly appreciated, now i was wanting to do something simple and get needswings bigbore Throttle body and just use k&n drop in filters and dremel out the stock intake, But ive seen where people has swaped out the crossfires stock intake boxes for a benz that had bigger bore intakes, can some 1 clarify the model and would you have to swap out the MAF housing? And whst else would be needed to do this swap correctly and i greatly apperciate the info guys!!!!

And thanks for the throttle body intsall info.
What airboxes would be better to use for the base coupe ?
Thanks ahead of time guys!!!!!!
Re: DIY intake info
I give the part number of the air-box for the NA in my previous post, others look the same but are too high and rub against the hood liner, I took two to the dump because of that fact.

Hey
Yeah im close the the UT stadium in TN, ive read alot about the v8 swaps but havent really putuch thought in it, is there any videos of what it looks and sound like, its very disheartening the so few things that can be.done to the 6 spd, i had tiburon 6 spd that i put a NGM stage 3 supercharger on the car netted over 300 hp and a lttile ove 310lbs lbs trq, its hard to belive a car like a crossfire doesnt have ANY real after market or forced induction........ My wife absolutely loves sport wagons, she got a 2006 magnum when i got my crossfire..... Sad thing is the thing will run off and leave my crossfire...... Sad sad sad......lol, so i greatly apperciate and help or pointed in the right direction.
