Default Buying a Crossfire. HELP!!

Hello everyone! Tomorrow I will probably be buying a 2004 Xfire. It’s white and has 140k miles. I drove it and I loved it! There are a few problems so I just wanted to make sure they aren’t deal breakers

Problems:
AC blows warm (just needs a recharge right?)
Heat has burning smell from the vents (no clue why. help!)
There are a bunch of cracks in the body work. Do I have to buy new panels or is there some repair/epoxy i can use?(what are the body panels made out of?)
The electric seats only work a few mins after the car starts(owner said it’s normal?)

Its listed for $4600. What do you guys think?

.

With those problems, could put you over the top with repairs. I'd pass on another one.

I think about the only reason for cracks in body panels would be that they are full of body filler. Crossfires are steel bodied, steel doesn’t crack. I’d keep looking.

Thanks for the replies!! Good thing I walked away, that sounds like it would have been a nightmare.

Heres another question, what’s the story with all the cars from Mexico/South America? I’ve talked to a few sellers around my area and they said they have mexican cars. Is that a deal breaker?

It usually better to pay a little more at purchase for a car with less problems because you'll put more into it fixing it.

I didn't think very many Crossfires were shipped to Mexico/South America.

I was actually going to. There was a high mileage one for 7k for sale, but then I drove the base model and it was plenty of power for me

You are 21, getting blown away by a Honda Civic is not going to make you feel too good, This is easily accomplished by the Honda if you have a manual transmission. It is cheaper to buy the SRT now than in six months time after you have taken a loss on your base.

I have a Black 2005 coupe with a 6 speed manual , it needs nothing. Has SRT wheels power coated satin black, the car has 120k miles.I would consider selling for the right price. If you are interested let me know and I will send you some pictures.
