Default Left turn signal indication quit.

Went to the store this morning and discovered the left turn signal indicator light quit working. The right turn signal indicator light works fine as well as all the turn signal lights work. Is there a bulb that can be replaced in dash and if so how do you get at it? Thanks

Accessing the bulbs is pretty simple.
Best to start by downloading the manual

All the answers are there or at least it will direct you how to get there.

After extensive YouBoob search I found a Mercedes R170 video on how to change dash lights. I'm guessing it's pretty much the same as a Crossfire.

Just to confirm your left turn signal indicator does not light up at all on cluster? Does it still make any noise? You confirmed your left turn signals in the headlight and tail light both blink on the left side?

It is unusual for those bulbs to go bad. There are three bulbs on the back of the cluster for the turn signals. It is not an easy job to take apart the dash and it is hard to remove the cluster bezel and sometimes when you put it back you will have a rattle or two. Usually one the two wedge type bulbs in the cluster burn out first.

Make sure it is the bulbs instead of the actual turn signal on the side of the steering wheel, turn signal socket in the headlight, etc.

If you are sure and want to go this route then it is best you change all the bulbs in the cluster while it is apart. You will need 24 of the 2452MFX6 of and 2 of 0015445594. These are cheap at Autohaus.com.

Yes the turn signals right and left, front and rear work! "24 bulbs!" OMG! Maybe just put tape over the dash indicator and pretend it's flashing! LoL

Added comment @ 7:20 PM
I noticed the right turn signal indicator "clicks" and the left turn signal indicator is silent even though the signal is working.

24 small ones plus two larger wedge bulbs but they mainly are for the side indicators, tire pressure light, seatbelt light etc. The bulbs are not expensive and are easy to change once everything is apart but I was warning you to be prepared if you are going to take everything apart. That is puzzling the left side is silent, I can't see that a bulb would be the culprit. Like I said there are exactly 3 bulbs behind the turn signals. Maybe check the service manual or check the Mercedes forums to see what the problem could be because I have no idea.
