AWESOME!!! Tell us again how easy it was to remove the lettering on the back.

 

1. heat each letter up with a blow dryer.

2. slide "fishing line" beneath the each letter and wiggling it back-and-forth to loosen the adhesive from the letter/emblem (do "not" pull up/pry on the emblem).

3. once each emblem/letter is removed...use "goo gone" on a micro fiber towel to remove remaining adhesive.

4. then use a non-abrasive polish to luster paint.

 

Excellent, thank you Andrew. My wife is having a fit with the mods I want to do, She bought me the car for Christmas, and just approved drilled rotors and pads for the front. I tried to sneak a spring set in but they were on backorder with no ETA.

What do you think if the car sits it in the sun for a couple of hours first then floss away? Its been 100+ here lately. If I take a heat gun to the car she might lose it.

with 100+ heat...you should be fine. i would use a .25 spray carwash to rinse around the letters prior to removal.

 

Don't worry about the marks you leave behind, it'll go away after a few waxes or Zaino's!

An other thing, maybe you remember my question long time ago? It was about the insulation for getting rid of wind noises. I don't like to come up with old threads but I'd really like to know how you've done it. Cause I'm gonna see my dealer soon and we will try to fix it together.
