Is the Crossfire in for another slagging?
Re: Is the Crossfire in for another slagging?
Mark,
I will try to record it, if I had known all that was on last night, I would have thrown a DVD in the recorder then.
First time I will have tried to record and use on net, my ISP did write (very e-tech are NTL) and tell me my connection 750KB is being increased to 2MB with no additional cost, about time, but might help me get things uploaded - if there is an increase is in both directions.

OK its being trashed, crap silver console, poor handling based on a very old SLK and under powered.
A little more gentle than they were with the coupe but not much.
The only thing going for it is the recent price cut!
Ho Hum

Re: Is the Crossfire in for another slagging?
Just finished watching top gear ... unbelievable Clarkson thought the crossfire roadster was better than the TT and the 350Z and described it as "rubbish but the best looking and the most comfortable and the best price"...
One fact they got wrong .. they said the xf roadster was developed a coupe first and just had the top cut off. I may be wrong but I thought the roadster and the coupe were developed in parallel...
Ha still a TT beater.

For once not the slagging as expected, although a general beating of all three cars.
Clarkson voting for the X-FIRE! (SLK/CLS/SLR all got good ratings as well lately).
Nothing said about the X-Fire has not been said on this forum before as it does have its flaws, so nothing new there, but the other two are equally flawed in different departments.
Lets hope DCUK take some notice of the price issue for once, if they bothered to watch tonight, and stop discounting this car any more as the presenters say it is value for money in comparison as is.
I've observed current used values slightly rising, so without any more discounting the 3 year trade value should stack up to the predicted 33% loss. Let us hope.
By the way does anyone else think this is true when there are so many JAP IMPORTS landing in the UK every week that surely must be ruining UK prices.
