Core, well I guess its damn cheap on cars where you are... if everyone took the same opinion on cars like you have with a Porsche, then I guess you where never a big fan on Chryslers before the Crossfire came along... and come on, how awful was the car never mind the interior... everyone has moved on, so have Porsche... just like Chrysler.
Re: thanks guys.... its been great to know you.
bmerfan, correct, i never liked anything with the DC name on it. the interior plastics and modeling was real archaic, bland, and seemed to have been designed by kids in grade school ... i liked the fresh design and the crossfire accompanies my TT quattro roadster 6M real well since they're both the same dark grey color. it's too bad that the crossfire doesn't attract more of the younger crowd like me though.

Core, I agree... crazy thing is now that I'm without a XF, i've seen so many on the road, ). Its an awesome car... its taken a while for it to establish it-self here in the UK, but its nice to know that... no one I know has ever had a bad thing to say about it... I hope one day that DC continue to make the XF...

Bmerfan, enjoy your boxster, it's a real sportscar. And resale value is in Europe surely much higher. My friend had a few years ago a '85 911 S. After driving for 3 or 4 years he sold it for the same money he bought it.
Re: thanks guys.... its been great to know you.
a 911 is always a carrera. it might not be a Carrera 4 or an S or a turbo model, but all 911's (993, 996, 997, etc.) are carreras. the cheapest Boxster i see on ebay is $12K (reserve met), and its a '97 with 6 days left, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=4560281325 , so highly doubt youll get a 911 thats not wrecked for $10K. maybe you meant a '91...
