Is this "upsolute" chip for real? 20bhp?!!!
Re: Is this "upsolute" chip for real? 20bhp?!!!
I don't know their website that's why I'm asking. I just saw a post for it here and I was wondering if anybody has it. I'm in CT. I'm wondering if the warranty will be voided. Also, does the dynamics of how the motor runs change. Is it rougher, idle rougher?
Thanks.
Thanks.

www.upsolute.com You might also want to check www.Powerchipgroup.com. Both claim it undetected by dealer you can get more info from their websites. Their prompt with their response. I went with Powerchip but I was communicating with both Companies. Powerchip is more expensive and also you need to remove and ship the ECU. ECU removal is simple takes less than 5 mins (just unplugging no tools needed. Upsolute is cheaper the quoted me about $425 and they located the closest ECU tuner for me to contact and me.
Good Luck.

^^^Wow thanks, but I can't be without the car for a day since I drive it to work.
I have to send the entire ECU? I thought powerchip just plugged and played.
Forgive my ignorance.
Also, does anyone have any "real" results from these chips? Any dyno time or at least before and after seat of the pants. What about reliability? Does the car idle rougher or have reliability issues?
Thanks guys!

Yes you have to remove the entire ecu. It's plug and play removing the stock ECU ship it and they reflash it with the program and software into the stock ecu and the ship it back overnight. You ship there over night and they ship back to you over night the process takes two days. I felt the same not being able to leave my car sit but I took my motorcycle to work and hoping this was worth it. I'll be getting the ECU tomorrow so I'll tell you how it was. And I'll be at the 1/4 mi Thursday if it doesn't rain.

Dan thanks, what is Redcross? I went to upsolutes website and they don't have a crossfire chip.
Also Dan, I would be interested in your emblems and have a few questions. Want to get some custom stuff.
As far as warranty again, will the dealer be able to tell I did this? I'm trying to avoid hearing them talk sh*t when I'm going in for my oil changes.

Wow this is a great community. I have a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabrio and this community is just as nice as Rennlist. Very happy I signed up!
Dan, I got your PM but Firefox blocked it. How do I get it? I want to ask you some questions about placing an order.

I didn't dyno it, but I did feel the difference; of course, I was looking for it.
As I recall it was under $500 but I had some other little things included.
Idle is smooth and no substantive change.
All in all, yep, I think it was worth it.
See my pm to contact me, if interested in taking a spin.
