Default New owner checking in

Hey, folks.
After years of playing around modifying sport compact cars, I was finally able to afford a genuine sports car. It's funny how insurance rates drop, and incomes rise, as the years go by. Attached is a picture of my Crossfire, and a pic of the last sport compact that I built.

I chose the Crossfire, because in base form in represents a fine value. Genuine European sports car performance does not come at a better price, especially when you consider how fine of a drive this car is. Two hundred miles after pulling out of the dealer lot, and I am still discovering things that I love about the car (as well as a few minor annoyances).

I will keep this short, but I am looking forward to being a member of your community. I am sure that I will enjoy your advice, enthusiasm, and tips on upgrades from this point on.

Congrats, let me know when you want some custom emblems. I hope you have a garage for that black beauty. Order some Rotex gold front pads!

Thank-you for the warm welcome, everyone. I suppose I could do a search, but what do you consider to be the best parts dealers for this car? For the Protege, we had limited choices, so tracking down mods took patience and a little creativity. I imagine the same will hold true for this low-volume beauty. Of course, the 3.2L is widely used by Mercedes and ought to be upgradeable. And, I am sure that a lot of SLK chassis bits will work as well.

And, to answer an earlier question, I do not yet have a garage constructed on my property. However, I have the habit of washing my cars weekly, and waxing them every three to four weeks. So, I will do my best to take care of her. In the winter, I will likely try to track down some storage for it, and buy a beater to drag through the salt and ice.

I am a marketing representative for the Chrysler Information Center and it is great to hear your comments on the Chrysler Crossfire! I was wondering if any of you would mind me joining in the conversation. If you have any questions or concerns, let me know. I'll try my best to find an answer for you.

Thanks,

Kris B,
That's great that you've joined our community. As with any sports car, Crossfire owners often have a desire to personalize their vehicles. It would be fantastic if the current range of Mopar accessories for this vehicle were expanded to include more comfort, convenience, and performance items.

I think all of us feel that way. I would rather get accessories from mopar than after market.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome!

It’s great to know that Chrysler Crossfire owners are such true-to-the-brand enthusiasts. Have you checked out Mopar.com for any updates on accessories to make your Crossfire “stylin”? You might also want to take a look at www.giftgallery.chrysler.com/GiftGallery

for those items that let everyone know that you are a proud Crossfire owner.

I’ll be around if you have any more questions or comments.

Thanks Again,

Kris B.

Yes. Thank you! I visited several times before. Beautiful items there. And I'm a very proud XF owner. But again, it's only for US. Just like the luggage set that everybody loves so much...

Cheers.

Hi Chrysler Crossfire Owners!

Happy Holidays to All! I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Hi chxf! It’s too bad that the Chrysler Crossfire gifts aren’t available in Switzerland. I am unfamiliar with an appropriate contact in your country, however my best suggestion to get in contact with your local DCX dealership and see what they can do for you.

If you have any more questions or comments, I’ll be around.

Thanks,

Not much to nothing. DC USA do their things, as well as DC Europe and DC Switzerland and so on. Pity, there's no corporate network worldwide.

Thanks for response.

chxf,

I am sorry you can't get the Crossfire gifts you want shipped to Switzerland. There is an International DaimlerChrysler Customer Assistance Center (1-248-512-7730) you might want to call for help in assisting you in this matter further.

Again my apologies,

Kris B.

Kris, no need to apologize. Hey it's not your fault. Thanks for the info. I might call them to see whether they can help or gonna put me through from one department to another, like call centers like to do... *lol*

Thanks again.

In France we can buy some Chrysler gifts (http://www.chrysler.fr/Boutique/boutique.asp), but not similar to the US Chrysler gifts web site, and like chxf said no way to obtain the special luggage set.

Chxf: I hope they can direct you to someplace where you can purchase your Chrysler Crossfire paraphernalia. Best of Luck to you in your search! Let me know what direction you went.

Ben147: It is unfortunate that you can’t get the luggage set. Perhaps you can contact a local dealership to see if more Crossfire items are available through them directly.

Thanks again,

Kris B.
