I'm sorry for the late post here as I enjoyed the clash of knowledge between two car intellectuals in this thread. First, I would like to inform y'all that we moved our race to Hallsville last week because it is closer than the racetrack in Ennis but when we got there we found out that it is temporarily closed due to a shooting rampage a week earlier.

So, we are setting our race again for another day and I'll keep you guys informed when it's gonna be.

The chrome grills I bought from CTD-Germany and the lower grills I got it from Autozone, trimmed it and slap it in there!

driving a new GT is like driving a massive vessel. i traded in my 03' mustang GT for this car, although the GT is faster it definitely doesn't feel this good. it's like driving a tugboat, while the new GT is like driving a massive titanic of a vessel. you can raise families in that new GT ... who cares about power that much? it's not like you get a great chance to speed with all the lights in america.

Thread, what performance mods have you done to get to the low 14s in the quarter? And do you have a 6 speed or auto?

Hello, just wanted to make my first post so the top of the screen stops saying, why don't you make your first post?

Hello everyone, just bought an '05 Crossfire Base Model for $19,995, I think it was a good price for a nicely made car.

I had a GT come up to pass me on a large and long circle exit ramp over 1/4 of a mile, this was from one major highway to another. I hit it and we were neck and neck until we got into the turn, I pulled a head about 3 car lengths, this was intense I was doing close to 90 in a perfect circle. As we came down on the straight I was approaching 100 and he blew buy. On the Track a Crossfire will win, in a Drag, GT hands down.

Let me see if I understand your question... you are asking if anyone thinks a Crossfire V6 will kill a Mustang V8, is that what you are asking?... Only thing I can say is "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? My God man it's a V8 for God's sake, what do you think is going to happen, the Mustang needs to drop a piston before the V6 would come close, and still I'm not sure if that would make a difference... but so as to add a little positive input here, let me say this, maybe if you can find a rear end for the Crossfire (maybe a 4:50 or maybe just a 4:10 would do), then put on some headers, install a new cam with a lobe or two, install a larger Throttle Body, and feed the guy driving the Mustang a 250 pound steak just before the race you just may pull it off...

A stock V6 kill off a stock V8, what are you thinkin? hooah
