Looking for leftover '04 in California ($20k)
Re: Looking for leftover '04 in California ($20k)
Keep looking you may find your deal. I am in Pennsylvania and my dealer had 2 2004 leftovers new with $26,999 on the window. I bought one for $23,000 plus tax and tags. I feel I got a great deal. I was willing to pay the $26,999 but lucky for me i found this forum first. Thanks.

If I needed a car, I would definitely drop 25k for one of these right now. However, I still enjoy my 98' M3, so to part with it, I would need a killer deal. I wasn't in the market until I heard about these prices on 04's.
Even if someone knows of an out of state car, I'm listening.

It seems where I am from (Ohio) the prices fluctuate quite a bit. Researched prices before I bought one and they ranged anywhere from $28,999 down to $22,999. I finally traded my Durango and paid $11,000 difference which I felt was pretty good...had a 2000 Durango in mint shape and I think they had a buyer for it already.
Re: Looking for leftover '04 in California ($20k)
After extensive calling around, I was able to find a red 04' for 22.2k. The next best price I was give over the phone was 25k. I called or emailed nearly every dealer in CA.
I don't think it will be easy to get one at that price, but with some persistence you can. Just search Chrysler's website for 04' crossfires by dealership and figure out if there are a few that suit you. I wanted a red with two tone manual and there were only two I found. One place wanted 27k, the other 25k. I got the 25k down to 22.2k.
Now I need to sell the M3, or my dad may be getting a present. Then comes a nice stereo system.
