Default Engine won't start ... Anyone else ???

Hi:

Engine won't start. Took car to dealer. Dealer couldn't diagnose. They consulted with Chrysler and was told to replace engine control unit and "screen" unit. Supposedly, the "screen" unit works with the theft deterrent system and is connected to the engine control unit. Somehow, something failed and the car won't start because the car thinks I am not using the correct key.

Anyone else heard of this issue? The service guy told me this is the recommendation they got from Chrysler because Chrysler has seen this problem in some Crossfires.

Man that sux, I hate it when I am out of a car. I feel your pain, I had a PT Cruiser that was in the shop more than my driveway. Its really depressing when something like that happens...

I have a problem that is related to yours. My car will start but it wont stay started about 20% of the time. It turns over but it wont idle, it just dies. I am taking mine in next week.
