Be careful about filing the claim with your insurance company. It *might* make your rates go up. I got hit in an intersection by someone who ran a red light. The other insurance company admitted fault and paid for everything, yet on the next renew from my company (Allstate at the time), the rates went up. Just my experience.

When I saw her keying the car, she was already at the back of the car. I didn't have time to get a witness since I saw her at the very end. If a girl is crazy enough to be kicked out of your place of employment for stalking and then keys your car a year later, I don't think she is smart enough to let the problem die if I confronted her. i would think she is a nut job and if I confronted her she would probably charge me and I would have to defend myself. Maybe you are from a town that doesn't have people that are insane or just plain stupid but I don't see how saying "please stop keying my car," would work anywhere.

 

I'm 53 years old and have worked in the justice system for all of my adult life. Trust me, telling someone to stop committing a crime works. You should try it sometime.

Please stop? Ha-ha, give me a break. Like I said before, you should have told someone inside blockbuster to call the cops. Run outside. Restrain the bit*h until the police show up. Citizen arrest? You are protecting your property. You caught her red handed. Just letting it slide is insane! The cops for sure would have shown up, especially after restraining her. If she happened to get hurt in the process, its all from resisting. If she attempted to kick or hurt you in any way, that would just be more charges.

Amazing to me that the cops there didn't give two sh*ts. I've seen it like that in major cities, but not small towns.

 

It's hard to believe that anyone could actually do this and get away with it. If there were no witness to the citizens arrest, I think she could be a REALLY BIG PROBLEM! How can you resist arrest from someone that isn't a cop? That really sounds like taking a BIG chance.
I wouldn't pull over for someone that wasn't a cop if I was on the highway, would that make me resisting arrest from some citizen that wanted to stop me for something?

Car is being keyed. You are inside and see it. You yell over to the front desk to call the cops. This would draw attention. You run outside and prevent the "suspect" from leaving. The disturbance would be more than enough of a reason for the police to show up. They will add the issues up and take the psycho bit*h away. The courts will find her guilty, and by the time the cops would have shown up, there would have been plenty of people to testify the situation.

 

I'd just take her to court and make her lie To Judge Judy, she would pick her apart and leave the scraps to the worms! what's she going to do say she was watching TV that night!And he must have keyed his own car for attention!

 

I was just using that as an example of why citizens arrest wouldn't work. I know his car was in the parking lot! Maybe you'd let some person restrain you because they thought you were breaking the law, but I wouldn't. How do I know they weren't going to kill me? or worse? If she's a girl, which she is, she could have cried rape if he tried to restrain her and then where would he be?
Could work for you, but seems risky. The witness thing would be better and then take her to court. She probably wouldn't even show up, if she's psycho.

 

It probably sounds really dumb, but I do want to take her to Judge Judy. I personally don't like that show, but Judge Judy would kill this girl. It should be such an easy case to win since #1 I saw her do it #2 I had to ban her from my old job for stalking me #3 the girl is dumber then a rock. If I do pursue this to the court of Judge Judy, I will let everyone know when it will air so we can all enjoy the Crossfire hater being punished!!!!

Jesus. I would have shot the bit*h and claimed self defense (Gotta love Florida). Jealous people really suck. I'll be glad when we can buy euthanasia pills over the counter. I'd be the first person on the street handing them out like candy to low life scums such as these. "Take one and call me in the morning!!"

 

1. The "Someone is attempting to gain access to my vehicle wait I think they may have a weapon of some sort; its really hard to tell send someone quick" call should do it.

2. Yelling at her while in the store would have generated a few witnesses I bet.

 

I used to live with 3 girls. One of them decided to move out 6 months early and decided not to pay her rent for 6 months, or her portion of our $1500 water bill that was caused by a broken toilet while she lived there. We never did get ANY money, but I will get my revenge, oh yes. This was last year. I do indeed plan on getting her to spend that money one way or the other, just like we had to, and this is what I'm thinking.

My advice to you is do this. File a claim with your insurance company. Get them to pay to fix your car. Then wait 6 months to a year, and go on a mission and do something horrible back to her. Sugar in her gas tank... or spray paint SL*T and her phone # all over her car... or something equally as bad.

You have to admit, keying your new Crossfire is unforgivable and is a huge offense! HUGE! I would be furious! Her mistake was letting you see her do it! And besides, you already knew her car was there.. but if her car wasn't there.. and you never saw her... you'd have no idea who did it.

Do something during a dark night that will make you feel better and cause her an equal or bigger headache than the one she caused you. This way she has to go through the exact same thing you went through.. only she'll have no idea who did it. Then a year after that, send her an anonymous note that doesn't incriminate you or even mention you, yet warns her to treat people better in the future. That would be a lesson she won't forget. She might even think about who would want revenge, and suspect you.. but nobody would do anything back at you without proof, so make sure there is none.

When it comes to a Crossfire, or thousands of $$, you have to take an eye for an eye. Don't let her off the hook. Sometimes cops won't help you, and sometimes it's not worth going to court.. you have to be a man and take issues into your own hands, and teach that little bit*h a lesson she won't soon forget.

 

You guys are cracking me up, I love it! I do wish I would have played the situation differently but it's over so I can't change my actions. But you better believe pay back and karma are both a b!tch and she will get a mixture of both.

 

I think one morning next year she should wake up to 'CRACK *****' spray painted all over her car.

No wait, I got it... Just wait until she gets a NEW car.. wait as long as it takes.. a year, 2 years.. it doesn't matter.. THEN go spray paint it.
