Carbon Fiber or Brushed Aluminum Dash Trim Kit
Hi all,
Just wanted to let all of you know that I just received my crossfire dash kit from LGT Automotive and it's simply beautiful. I got the carbon fiber version and hopefully i'll get around to posting up some pics in the next couple of days.
Their site is www.lgtautomotive.com
take care,
Jack

Sorry but that is lacking compared to the Startech kit which I believe is actual replacement pieces. I got the catalog and the Carbon kit is stunning. It actually wraps around the console pieces and doesn't just stick onto the flat surfaces.
If you have a chance go to the Startech page and check it out. Pricey though.

Is it a replacement piece or is it a kit. Because if anyone here wants the look of carbon fiber, a different color or something, I can do it for you. You buy the supplies and materials and send me the pieces you want done. I won't charge you much for it. I'm actually making some killer leather/suede insert pieces that all come together with a contrasting French Seam, to give it that top notch look to be carried out through the car. My doctor says, I need to find a hobby that will give me a chance to chill out and be in a low stress environment. He actually said, a lot of men pick up needle point. So I said, sewing machine and some leather, along with some ******n ideas for the interior of the car. Man... I got a hobby! It also helps that my good friend does custom interiors for classics. So he gives me a lot of great tips. Although difficult, it can be a zen like experience.

I emailed the startech importer in california and they said "Thanks for the email. I’m afraid we don’t offer dash trim kits for the Chrysler Crossfire. We do, on the other hand, offer two things that might be comparable. We have interior accessories such as steering wheels, gear shift *****, hand brakes, and aluminum pedal pads in addition to a custom upholstery workshop here in Newport Beach, CA. Our upholstery shop can re-cover your seats, door sills, and dash with a leather or alcantara in any color you choose. If any of this interests you, please don’t hesitate to call or write back at your convenience."
I'm not clear where you got the brochure or the pricing - the rep wrote me another note indicating the carbon fiber trim parts were one-off for the German show-car.
Anybody found true molded interior dash kits as opposed to the flat 'stuck-on' kits?
