Default Don't shoot the messenger!

Stopped into the DC dealer that sold me the Xfire, the sales manager comes out and says hi! I asked him if there is going to be a 2006 Xfire and he said with a big smile!!!!!
"Yes! and they are coming with a highout put 3.5" He said the power will bo close to the SRT6.
He said he would get me a brochure when DC gets them to him!!!

i would be really surprised if this info is correct. most sales associates / managers are the last to know the "real" truth. the automotive magazines would have probably reported this to us...if this was the case...they also have the inside scoop before a sales manager. most dealer associates hear wind of something...and now it's a rumor around the dealer.

lets hope it's true...to revive sales. but i like being rare to see on the streets.

The funny thing is that I didn't feed him any information, he just came up with it like he already knew. I had to leave as my daughter was waiting so I didn't get any more details. He's a real nice guy and he sounded real sure. I'll ask him more tomorrow!

Salesman always talk crap, that in part is their job. And I don't know why you guys would be so happy if that happened, you think our resale value is bad now? LOL I think it would be cool from a car nut point a view but thats it. Would I buy one? Maybe used in a year for half the price.

I remember a salesman saying the Honda Civic type R is coming and according to him it was supposed to be here 2 years ago. LOL

Actually most sales managers not salemen get inside training and are not supposed to yack, but I've meet very FEW salesmen who even know the CROSSFIRE .
