Well It finaly happened !!!!!!!!
Hi
Well after a almost a year of lurking, looking, reading, dreaming, hopeing. Bought the wife a very expensive birthday present. On the way home she said lets go look at crossfire colors. Well here's the deal I struck: 2004 Blaze red coupe Vin 18137. 98 miles. paid $26 k and 2 free oil changes. Think I did ok ???? Pick up monday or tue. after the bank and paperwork. I am a happy camper.

Yea, that's a darn good price. I also bought a red 2004 just about three weeks ago and gave 27000. I though I got a super price. I did get tires for life though if I have all service done there. I'll just have to see how much it costs me to get routine maintenance done there.

Sounds like a great deal to me, for your wife, that is 
The 2 oil changes is great since you only need to have it changed every 7k miles. Just make sure they use Mobile 1 when they do them. I haven't had to have mine changed yet, but look up previous posts, it's not a $20 quickie oil change.
Have fun with your new car! Hopefully the weather is getting better on the east coast!

hey MI, I have been married for a while and I "get it". But the xfire is not "ours". It's mine, mine mine! If she is nice I will let her drive it once in a while. If she would just understand how to shift I would let her drive it more. But she just doesn't undrstand how gearing works. The other day in her 5-speed focus she pulled up to a light with the car in 1st and the clutch in. Stopped the car, put it in second and then took off with the car chunking all the way. she pulled into a gas station up to the pumps in third, slowed down to 15 and shifted into 4th, lurch lurch. She looks better as eye candy in the passenger seat than she does in a bucking stick shift, with me in the passenger seat with a winching pained expression on my face. I love her to death, but......

Like the BuckEye, my Xfire is mine, mine, mine. The Corvette is mine, mine, mine.
My 5speed PT is mine, mine, mine. My wife owns half of everything else we have except the standard trans. vehicles. She can have all of her AUTO PT because I don't want it. I would have bought a PT Convertible for both of us, but she won't drive a standard trans. Some guys have to put up with a lot to be married for that long.

It'll be in the world news if all Blaze Red Crossfires will have a hook-up somewhere! Best place to cruise will be in the Texas highways were there are zillions of red Xfires around.
How about next years Valentine's Day? And green Crossfires will have it on St. Patrick's Day!
