Care tips?
Re: Care tips?
Thanks, Hampton Inn. Had a nice post all ready and their ISP failed me.
I'd flush coolant, change differential fluid, bleed brakes, have the filter/fluid in the transmission changed and take a GOOD look at the battery, battery cables and battery cable ground lug.
The battery is the electrical system's filter, it filters noise and spikes from the car's electrical system. Your car has several microprocessor-based modules in it, spikes and noise on the 12 volt supply are something you want to avoid. Is the battery over five years old? Are the battery cables all corroded?
If so, Have you priced a new SKREEM or PTCM module?

And if you are not carrying one of these in the trunk, you have a "Dr. Phil moment" coming............

Pull the fuse box cover off, driver's side of dash. Has anyone written "Sticky Key mod" on the label? If so, it has been done. If not, you better click here:

Good guide.
I also recommend taking a look here:
Car Care Forums: Meguiar's Online - News & Announcements
I joined years ago.
A forum member runs it! MikeinOrange is a true pro and a gentleman. The amount of info and, more important, VIDEOS of his classes are wonderful.
That one website can tell you more than I can here.
And you will receive more advice than you can imagine from folks here, too.
Read/watch a bit and ask away, bud!
