Noise coming from clutch peddle
Noise coming from clutch pedal
This is kind of hard to explain. Shifting into a higher gear and applying a little gas at the same time just trying to just make a smooth shift works just fine but when you give it a fair amount of gas while shifting you can feel engine vibration in the clutch and also hear some noise. It's not a lot of noise but the passenger can hear it. Has anybody else noticed this? It's most noticeable when you shift from 1 to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. After that it's not a problem. It has done it from day 1.
Re: Noise coming from clutch peddle
I tried to take mine into the dealer about three weeks ago but the technician was on vacation. Since then I have found out that the noise actually comes from the shifter but the vibration comes from the clutch pedal. I have found that if I hold pressure on the shifter I hear practically no noise. I test drove another six speed at the dealer and the clutch pedal vibrated just like mine but there was no noise. The car runs and drives fine with the exception of the noise. I have been just too busy to fool with it. I'll probably get it fixed when I take it in for its first oil change. BTW, I have about the same mileage.
How much of a problem is it for you and is the dealer going to do anything about it?
