Default Manuel gear oil

Hello I ve a 2004 v6 base manuel gear crossfire
I dont like the shifting on 1-2 and R
Maybe i would have better driving experience if i change the gear oil
Which is the right oil to use by the experienced crossfire users in this forum?
I ve read some thread about it but they were from 2011 and so thought it can be usefull to have an update as we are in 2016...

Thanks in advance for take your time and help me with ur answer for choice the best gear oil for my car

If your '04 still has the orig factory ATF fill, that could explain the tough 1-2 & R shifts. Not sure what's available to you in Italy, but a syn 5W-20 motor oil, a dedicated manual trans syn fluid, or even a synchromesh fluid like Pennzoil or Valvoline should help. A clutch that's out of adjustment or needs to be bled could also be contributing to the issue.

I noticed that and thought it was an Italian driving a German car with a Spanish gearbox.

I put in Mobile 1 5W20 and noticed considerable smoother shifts.

Let us know how it shifts with the new fluid. If your going to DIY, l recall you'll need 14MM & 17MM hex drive bits.
