Default Winterizing?

So this is my first winter in the Crossfire, I think I'd like to keep it garaged throughout. It's also only my second winter driving in general, and I'd like to get a pre-winter checklist going to keep my car strong throughout the cold months so getting it out in the spring will be a breeze.

What do you guys do when you put your babe away for the winter?

!st fill the tank full & add stabilizer to gas to keep it fresh ! Wash & wax the car & cover it ! Also put a trickle charge or maintainer battery charger on it & your all set til spring !

Tennis ***** in the exhaust to keep anything from crawling in there.. blocks for the wheels if you have a 6speed.. I was told moth ***** in the engine bay help keep rodents away so that's what I did last year.. fabric softener sheets inside the car to keep things fresh! and yes, fuel stabilizer and a trickle charger should both be high on that list.. I also put cut up pieces of rug under each wheel to try and keep the tires from getting flat spots

Boost the tire pressure by 10 psi and use a battery maintainer not a trickle charger as you do not want to cook the battery. Or you could just charge the battery up every month and remove the cables.
Cover the car.
I'm not sure the critters will go too far up the OEM exhaust as I'm sure they will not want to get covered in soot, so I think that's the least of your worries.
A few mouse traps or whatever, keep these under surveillance or the first mice will get killed and the next mice to come along will get a free ride.
I start my car every month and bring it up to temperature and put the heater on.

Fabric softener dryer sheets scattered inside the car will keep the mice out. Pick a brand that you like the scent as that's what you'll be smelling in the spring. Been doing this in my stored cars and campers for years and never had a mouse.

My garage never gets below about 33/34 degrees F anyway, so mice like my garage.
I had four traps on the go last year when it was particularly bad. I did win in the end but they are clever little suckers and avoided the poison and only fell to the traps. This year I'll start early with the traps and not have to play catch up.

I'll just add that I stuff steel wool in the exh pipes, mice will not chew it. I also get this repellent called "shake away", Mouse Repellent - Rodent Repellent Granules

A friend swears by used kitty litter around the outside of his garage to ward off mice. That might be a bit tough on the nose. Oh, and check your antifreeze strength.

I'm definitely going to be starting the car maybe once or twice a week just to keep fluids rolling. Just trying not to let it get snowed on or salt from the roads all over it, or running too hard in the cold. But as is right now I lost my handy Jeep today and it looks like I'm going to be in the crossfire until I can find something else. Sucks because the first snowfall was this morning. lol
