Great feedback guys!!!

I'm up to 198 responses. The results are about the same...Side and rear of Theme B, Front is split between B and C. But I've been getting a lot of comments from individuals who like the side glass shape of C and the fender strakes of B. At this point I can see 2 designs emerging, one that stays more literal to the original Crossfire and another that pushes it out a bit.

At this point I have enough responses so I'll need to close the survey. But I plan to come back soon with updates and another survey and more sketches.

As far as my plans go, at this point this is going to be a personal conceptual project, but it could eventually end up as a one-off car for myself. This will essentially be the same as building a Cobra kit, but with a custom-designed body and interior. There is no official connection to Chrysler or Ford, or any plans to produce it.

Also, as I said before I want this car to be Crossfire inspired, but not branded as a Chrysler or a Crossfire. That means I'll need to come up with a new name for the car...Any ideas?

Since the survey response was so strong, I just need to get those disclaimers out of the way before I get into any entaglements with my current or former employers...Thanks for understanding!

I'll be back with some updates to the design soon!

You could always defray the cost by building 2 (Yours and Mine).

Give it a few more HP than the Crossfire and call it Hellfire

Did anyone save those designs? In case some of the crossfire crowd did not see it.

I have a copy of the original posted sketches framed on my office wall.

Does that count?

Survey is closed!
That was quick.
I completely missed the survey.

Any way to see those new concepts?

I always liked the name "Crossbow"

Speed and power with just a hint of Crossfire heritage.

Eric, Thank you for finding a way to extend the survey.

I liked them "C" in almost every view. "A" looks a bit like the Chevy Comaro

"C"seems to be a more organic evolution of the Crossfire. Yes, I am prejudiced to that original design.

+1 to Franc, have to agree. Looks more like a Crossfire inspired design.

I'm starting to prefer the front design on "B" for the same reasons. "A" reminds me of the 350 Z and "C" looks like the front on a Caddy.

I have always thought the Sebring front on our Crossies was a dissapoinment but I presume that Chrysler needed the Brand recognition.

"B" looks more like what it should have been in the first place.

Very interesting....

Not to confuse everybody, but when I re-posted the survey I switched the order of the images to see whether one design was truly favored over the others. Theme B, the favorite in the first round became Theme C. That means the same design is emerging as the favorite.

I've been in surveys before where they just pick the one in the middle. This time there is a clear winner. It looks like the Crossfire community has a very clear view of what a Crossfire should look like.

So here's a question...If it's NOT a Crossfire, but an all new car in its own right, would you pick the same design again?

For looks,,,,,
In a heartbeat!

Driving and Performance would effect the final thoughts on purchase. But given the pedigree of the designer, one can confidently presume those features would be exciiing.
