Unhappy Well F!@#... Spin out on I95-> rear panel smooshed

Hello friends,

So yesterday, in the monsoon that was happening in central Florida, my lovely little black coupe decided it wanted to take a literal 'spin' on I95 and play ping pong with the guardrail... From just after the passenger door (including the tail light) is nicely smashed... anyone have a general idea how much that panel is going to cost me? A good place to look for parts? Or maybe a part #....
Thanks <3

Send a PM to MrMopar, not sure he is still in business ( I think so ) and he may have that quarter panel.

Check ebay.. complete rear sheetmetal on a roadster (since you just need to cut the panel) for $150 if I recall correctly.

And why won't your insurance company (please let us all know who it is?) pay for it?

I assumed he had third party liability only, hopefully he has that at least.

Not trying to be nosey, but did you pay cash for your car when you purchased it, or was there a loan taken out on it?
Because if you had a loan on it, I'm a little surprised the finance company never got in touch with you about not having collision insurance.

I take it everything worked out on the insurance part.....glad to hear.... My little Suzuki got hit today, so I am chasing after rare parts to find. Wasn't many x-90's imported to the US...but we will get her done.

Nope, Insurance never helped. My savior of a mechanic and I found the used parts ourselves, that's why it took so long. $4,330 later...I've got my baby.

I keep hearing, over and over, about Progressive's behavior.

They will never get a dollar out of me.

Progressive and the Hartford are the 2 worst companies for car insurance, though Geico isn't far behind.
