I need new tires, any recommendations?

Hey Forum,
Okay I'm in need of 4 new tires because my SPT's are S%*T. They only lasted about 1.5 years, not great, but it is what it is. I want more grip without compromising the comfort. My dealer quoted me $870 for the same tires I already have on...**** that! On the other hand, this sets me up with a 1k min. budget; should include M&B, and full alignment. So what kind of brand tire would you recommend me that is the best bang for the buck?

i would recommend the G-Max of course or the Michelin Super Sports. Toto Proxes 4 are good as well. But the underlying thing is the best bang for your Buck is going to be the General G-Max.... Tire Rack is running a special on them for 740 shipped plus a $50 mail in rebate.
