2004 x-fire 30,000 miles and needs service B
Hey everyone really new to this site but can't stay off it now. I was wondering if anyone could help me, I am in the USMC and in San Diego and trying to save my money on this service B and I like to do maintenace and upgrades on my car myself. My crossfire only has 30632 miles on it and is a 2004 everything is stock OEM as far as i know. I was wondering what was the best way to save money for this service, what i can do myself, suggested parts/fluids that will be needed and if anyone knew any good mechanics for crossfires in San Diego area. Also I'd like to talk / meet with other crossfire enthusiasts about ideas and upgrades and maintenance becuase hell I love my crossfire!!

Re: 2004 x-fire 30,000 miles and needs service B
Well you're starting off in the right place... there's enough information on this site to keep you busy for years (trust me on this).
As for the "B" service... a typical service consists of:
Oil Change with new filter (0w-40 of 5w-40 full synthetic can be found at most auto parts stores and a QUALITY filter)
Topping of the fluids (washer fluid, power steering, coolant)
Brake fluid flush (every "B" service of 2yrs)
Cabin filter replacement (straight forward, there's even a how to on here somewhere)
Lube hinges
Check tire pressure
Also, post some pics up! Let's see her.
Welcome and Enjoy!
