Re: Pulse Module - WHERE IS IT?
Oh, just thinking. I just wonder - Why? Why have it in the 6 speed cars?
In fact, I question if we DO have it in the 6 speeds - since they don't auto-crank.
It is my understanding (and it is apparent from the diagrams in the service manual) that the pulse module is what auto-cranks the car when the key is turned.

If it is there it may be a bridge box (or a spare). The definition of a 'Bridge Box' that I use would be to hold a connector, or have an internal set of jumpers to 'bridge' wiring as in a terminal box. I would not count on the latter as manufacturers do not put spares in cars they do not need to (but then again, people are human). I take it (since I do not have a standard) that the manuals do not have the 'turn key, release' and it continues to crank until starting, feature?

Re: Pulse Module - WHERE IS IT?
You are correct. On a 6 speed car, when you release they key the starter disengages, whether the engine is running or not.

Yeah Babey! Hope to see the results as I am just as curious as 'Curious George' as to what is there, and internal!
