hey everyone, after much debating and messaging back and forth, crossfireracr just sent me 140$.
He wanted to make it right and and clear his name.
Thanks to everyone for supporting me in the situation, it felt good to know there were people who had my back!
Special thanks to FP for helping with negotiation and keeping taps on the situation. I know it was probably a big nuisance for him, and extra stress he didn't need. Nonetheless I am glad he was there.

His name is not cleared yet. It took you how long to ask for your money back... And now "the check is in the mail"? It only took other forum members to send him nasty notes through Facebook, a moderator to threaten his account... Etc. of course it is worth giving your money back to clear his name. Will he do the same to the next guy? Or will it take another army to keep him honest? Probably will! So it will take lots of successful transactions and lots of happy customers before I would trust him. Trust is earned.

Yeah I feel the same way. But honestly, I'm done being bitter about it. I am just glad I got my money back. I won't do business with him ever again, this thread is probably still a good warning to at least be wary. Anyways, worked out. Even if it did take several months
