You know whats funny? I hate the interior of the Z, and like the interior of the Crossfire better.
Does the Z only come in the orange interior? Every Z I have seen has it, so I don't know if there are any options on the color inside.

That's funny. I'd take the Z's interior styling, but with the Crossfire's quality. The Crossfire doesn't have that cheap plastic feel to it while the Z does.

You guys are seriously dillusional if you think your crossfires can keep up with a Z. Sorry, but it's not even close. A mid to low 15 second car compared to a very low 14 to mid 13 second car... not even close. Come out of your closets and face the facts. :P

The Z's interior is way cheap compared to Crossfire. Doesn't matter that the Z has more horsepower than Crossfire, I would choose Crossfire any day of the week, but to each their own, right? How often can you really let go and fly down the road without risking a ticket or worse anyway. Z's are cool enough and fast enough but I like the unique Crossfire. If you can only afford some prius then I guess it rocks your world, but it compares in no way to the Crossfire. Can you post photos of your prius on here. I would love to see the ray-o-vac under the hood.

No Dan, I don't need any suggestions as I don't know the area. If you want to post an "Up" go to the "Meets" forum, pick a date and set one up.

Default Hey Saskins....

If you really have half the "racing credentials" you claim you have. You wouldn't be racing on public roads endangering the lives of innocent people.

I have been involved in auto racing in one form or another since my early teens. I have been teaching performance driving for the past 9 years, and it's stunts like the one you brag about, that kill !

Oh and by the way, try racing a Z at the track, then tells us the result!

Well, my input, I have driven a buddies Crossfire at a track, and liked it, it didn't give me as much feedback as a Z on the track, but it was very competent. My main gripe with the Crossfire is that (no offense) it simply doesn't have enough power in stock form.

And I just don't know why the hell Chrysler didn't release the car with more power right from the get go. Sure, you can drop a mortgage payment and by the blown one, but still, thats just too overpriced for what you get.

Hey Dan... I was just wondering, why is it you always go back and change your post "entirely" from what you originally said? The quote from you above is not what you said when you first posted. I guess we need to "quote" you every time we answer you so the content of your post isn't changed throwing "our" response out of context.

What does a stock Crossfire put down in WHP/WTQ? I put my stock car on the rollers when I hit 3k on the odo and made 241.xx WHP and 233.xx WTQ.

Hi People,

New member here. Probabaly not gonna get off to a good start since I'm gonna raise the b.s. flag on Saskins story as well as others people's comments on the Z which are incorrect like someone mentioning the suspension on the Z is "terrible" or "horrible." As far as the Z losing, well, I believe anything is possible but I can hardly believe it, even to the Crossfire (which I personaly think is a very very fugly car). I raced a Dodge Neon SRT-4 on the 91 freeway east (cali). That little turbo picked up quick and really got me. Eventually I caught up to him and steadily passed him up by 1 1/2 car lenghts before the freeway ended. This goes to show how capable the Z is in many factors ESPECIALLY the handling. Saying the ANYTHING is wrong with the Z's supsension should be a crime. The damn thing is a work of art which lead it to its most recent victory in the Grand Am Cup Series at Mid Ohio. Quarter mile launches, cornering, top end runs, I think performance wise, the Z will outshine the Crossfire. The Z was built as a touring car with sports in mind. To be honest, I'm not quite sure what Chrysler was trying to achieve with the Crossfire.
