Exclamation Rear Rotor Removal - PLEASE HELP!

So I now have 90k miles on the clock and I decided to replace my rear rotors. For the life of me I can't get them off. I removed the little star screw and the rotor is broke free and spins freely around the hub, but I can't get it past the e-brake. It jiggles to the point of trying to slide off but it gets caught on the e-brake shoes. I feel the e-brake shoes hitting a lip. I tried cranking down the hand-brake then released all the way. It just won't come off one either side. Am I missing a step that's different from other cars? Like an e-brake tension release of some sort?

Thanks.

You might have to turn back the adjusters on the shoes to get the rotors off.

That was it! Thanks a million, I would have never figured that out. I have never had to do that on any other car before. That little adjuster can barely be seen and took some finesse with a flathead screwdriver, but it eventually closed up and released the shoes. Now I can adjust my e-brake while I'm at it. Now I gotta jump in the GTS to drop off these rotors to get turned, they are still .35" thick.

I think I'd have probably used the RT/10

90k and you want to machine the rotors? Why cheap out now?

You know, I haven't checked but I would think that turning the rotors is almost as expensive as buying a new set and I don't mean from mercedes or chrysler. Not only that, if they are warped and you have them turned, they probably will warp again after they get hot. JMO.
