Is this the right oil filter?
Is this the right oil filter?
I bought my 1st oil filter at the M-B dealer, and it was not cheap. I will need one again in a few weeks.
Is "Mann-Filter HU 718/5" the correct "fleece" filter for my 2004 Crossfire. I find them much less expensive online.
Does this P/N come with the o-rings?
Thanks

No worse than any other really.. I pull my old one out of the car and lay it on news paper while I proceed to the draining.. take note of your rubber seals on the shaft and MAKE SURE you get the new ones back in the same places.. there are marks on the filter body to let you know you've pushed it up and seated.. they will be even with the housing edge.

Pizzaguy.. they make these neat little wrenches to fit them now!.. LOL. Tahoe..Miata..and Pickup.. still have to crawl under and contort to get to.. ..Oh wait.. just remembered.. Miata is down under and around at the side..then stretch to the front of the motor to extract..
