Question After market steering wheel security locks

I have a 2006 crossfire coupe in which I would like to purchase additional security for. I'm thinking of a lockable steering wheel lock. Does anyone have any tips on what to buy, what size fits and the best products on the market?

Save your money, any self respected car thief can get around those things, their trouble starts when they get it off.

Lockable steering wheel lock?
Locks are always lockable unless they are broken.

.

I don't think any "self respecting" car thief would take a chance on getting caught stealing a Crossfire.

I would recommend the one lock that I have. Its a brake pedal lock. The way it works is you place the club like lock at the brake pedal. I'm not sure the name but if someone was interested in theft of the Crossfire they will keep moving on to something less troublesome to work on. Here is a link I found. Good luck.

Pedal Jack Anti-Theft Device - Pedal Jack Anti-Theft Device - AutoSport Catalog

And one more right here.

I am sure it will be a deterent for some, not for others. The Crossfire can be taken out of park very easily without the key. Once moving, you can brake with the parking brake lever.

It will help but nothing will stop a thief once he puts his mind to it...

James

PS Luckily the Crossfire doesn't have much resale value to put it at the top of the most wanted list

You missed the link for the amazon one. It goes on the wheel, it is a visual deterrent as well.

I did miss that one. Some of the local police departments use that device on impounded cars that are stored in an unsecured area.

CAR THIEVES!!!! An old cop here. The parts for the crossfires has dried up, especially for body parts. Please keep this in mind while stripping the car, as not to damage the body parts. You should do well in the area of re-sale.....good luck....
