Default error 31?

Hi there folks,
Well had my 06 coupe for nearly a year now and all is running well. It's survived a harsh scottish winter and an even harsher summer...it's run like a dream!

However today when I switched on the ignition "31" appeared with the spanner symbol for about 10 seconds in the dashboard display...what does this mean? Nothing too serious I hope?

EDIT: I'm thinking this might be something about getting a service? How do I get rid of this?

I THINK that means that the PTCM thinks you are 31 days overdue for an oil change. When the last change was done, was the FSS reset? If it was, you have gone too long beetween services, if it was not reset, then it's not accurate.

The car last had a service in May I think. It probably wasn't reset...can I do that?
