Increased value for Chrysler Crossfire in years to come
A stunningly gorgeous car with fastback styling and a rear spoiler that deploys at higher speeds, the Crossfire is a sure bet for increased value as time progresses. Coupes can easily be bought for less than $10,000, while SRT-6 Roadsters with low miles approach $20,000. A lot of car for the money, it was built in limited numbers and is easily serviced at the vast dealer network of Chrysler.

Only half the article is wrong. First, the cars weren't sold from 2001 to 2007, it's 2003 to 2008 and second although my dealer services my car quite well it's always taken longer than it should have. Took three weeks to get the new top on and that was AFTER they had it in stock. But I really don't care because I had a loaner car the whole time. So, each time the car goes in I get a loaner. It has helped keep excess mileage off as I'm over 76,000 now and it just means the extended warranty lasts a little longer.

Nice find. Another one that won't show up readily in the search results on Google is the snippet from Jalopnik in 2005: Chrysler Considers Fate of Crossfire
It's funny, it actually hits the nail on the head WRT the future of the Crossfire and what ended up happening to it.

I bought an 05 LTD Roadster in 08. Put 15K miles on it in 3 years and sold it for a $3500 loss and was happy as you normally loose at least $2G/yr for a late model car.
If you're looking for investment cars, start snapping up C3 and C4 Vette's.
If it's gotta be an XF, then go for a low-mileage 6 and cross your fingers.
