Default spiders in my car ?!

For the past few months I've been killing a spider here and there , last week I killed 4 at one time 3babies and 1 large one , today I killed 5babies and two large ones at one time
I know I prolly should have put this in a different section since it really has nothing to do with the xf in general but I'm getting frustrated and starting to get worried that one might be crawling on me while driving and me freaking out at the wheel could cause an accident ( I have a slight phobia to spiders)
Anyone know how to get ride of them ? I've heard a bug bomb but i read it makes your car stink and could damage the leather

Damn, that sucks. Watch out for those Brown Recluse ones though. Maybe if you got some Venus Flytraps. Set them up at night, just kidding. Im not really much help, sorry.

The brown recluse is the only poisonous spider in Illinois, sadly I've killed a few of those in my last apartment, but these spiders are tan almost white and kinda small , lol a Venus fly trap sounds like a good idea but not effective immediately Lol

They need water, Id park in the sun closed up till they dried and died. Bug spray would be a possibility, Id spray a towel or sponge and leave it inside, not spray the carpet or interior.Woody

One way to get rid of small spiders is to introduce larger spiders to the area.

Try putting some Eucalyptus leaves under your car seats, behind the seats, in the trunk...just in different places. Spiders don't like them for some reason and it usually keeps them away.

Thanks, I might actually try this , most other options I've seen required some sort of spray or mist application and I'm worried it'll damage the interior but thus seems safe

I actually keep them in my closets and it seems to work. I hate spiders too.
