Default Back in the family

I am back in the family after 5 years. I bought today a used 2004 white automatic 75800 km (47000 miles) for 9 000$ Can. It came with the 4 original mags plus 4 mags ans tires for winter, which I am going to sell. I had in 2004 à saphire blue coupe,, which I sold in 2007. I loved it so much but had to get rid of it because of family need for a van. Wouachhhh.

Now that the kids are settled, I pleased myself and bought one again. It will be used in the summer only. The last time I bought a used car was in 1976. I keep my cars 2 or 3 years at the most. I had a lot of trouble to find a car that pleased me. I started looking in april and just found today. I must have seen at least 25 before I found this beauty and at the right price.

I know I will have to change headlight and other bulbs. I don,t care it's just a toy for me.

Hey Centaurv welcome back. I too just got back after being gone since 2007. What is it about these cars? Must be the eclusivety, and the fact that the values are in the toilet. I bought my new one owner 05 Roadster Limited auto with 70,000 miles (actually 110,000 kilometers since it was originally sold in Canada)
for $10,500. What a steal for a $42K car.
You are the same as me, this car is just a toy. Sunday driver on nice days. I think I got sick of my 04 because it was a daily driver. I won't get sick of this one for a while. Now time to mod.
Welcome back and good luck with your toy.

Other then getting bored how did it hold up as a daily driver?

It was as reliable as could be. The only issue I had was with the crank sensor going bad but that is a known issue. I drove the wheels off of that car. I was running a territory from Philly to Maine. Just dont try to drive it in the snow!!! I got stuck in my driveway with two inches of snow, and my driveway is flat.

Welcome back Centaurv. Congrats on the buy, and watch for GTG's from Turbomar & I - we're not far from you in eastern Ontario and look forward to meeting at some of our little cruises, if possible.

The only downside of these cars is the fact it doesn't have Mercedes-Benz's 4matic system , 2inches of snow is a lot to some people but here in Chicago our winter storms average much more then 2inches , snow driving and parallel parking will be quite the ride come winter..you had trouble even using the W mode ?

Mine has been my daily for the last 8 months. I have done nothing to it but an oil change, air filters, aftermarket stereo/4 channel amp mod and rear tires. Its been reliable as hell.

Thanks to you all

I now have over 3 000 K ( close to 2000 miles) on my new baby. I am still in love with it. Guys at the office are jealous, they can't believe it is 2004. It looks like a new car.
