Yes, the switch is in the right position. No , the truck lights do not come on

I'll ask again, does the module in the trunk make a noise when you press the fob button, I guess not but you have never said so definitely or not.

No, the module doesn't make a sound with the remotes... Nothing makes a sound. Just the outside lights flash

The lights flash so the transmitter and receiver work, the receiver is not sending a signal to the trunk module. So seemingly the module is shot or the transmitter is partly broken. Check for water around the module in the trunk, you should be able to see if there is water down the back of the foam block under the mat in the trunk on the right side of the car.
The module does work how ever when I use the switch inside the car, but only if the car is running. I'll look for water under the mat sometime this week ,.. Thank you for your help

Hi, for my 07 Xfire basic, I had to replace the car battery a few months ago and I cannot use the fob to lock/unlock/arm the car anymore. The central lock works, the key can start the car or manually lock/unlock the doors and hatch. I already tried with a new batteries for the fob and followed the instruction to reprogram it, but no luck. I tested the alarm with the window down and manually lock the door and opened the glove compartment, it will seton the alarm. I also tried to disconnect the car battery for 10 minutes and reconnected and reprogrammed teh fob without luck. What else can I do ? Thanks for your help.
