Why no used X's over 100k miles?
Re: Why no used X's over 100k miles?
I agree, i think the more miles one of these cars collects the LESS likely they are to be sold. NOT because they're falling apart (try to find one in a junkyard). I would definitely dispute that there are NONE available but they might be rare because...
1. People that keep them to a high mileage tend to keep them because they LOVE the car.
2. They are more likely to be wrecked the further from the release year it gets. (younger people who want a fun car to trash/wreck/neglect can't afford a new car, but an 8yr old is more doable).
3. These cars tend to find their way into the hands of someone who appreciates them, because once you drive one you don't usually want to give it up.
4. People figure that once they get high mileage they aren't worth that much, and aren't worth selling (not true).
Regardless of all of this, they ARE out there (maybe not SRTs though), just keep looking. dealerships, private sellers, autotrader, craigslist, ebay, search search search search. they're out there.

Re: Why no used X's over 100k miles?
When I was searching this past spring I found at least a dozen with over 100K in Florida. Check Craigslist for Florida and search under "Heartland" instead of a city. I just did this and was very pleased with the fact that I stole mine.....That's why I drive the way I drive...LOL A couple here in Sarasota for sale now...
