Default Post The Comments You Received From Crossfire Fans

I was at Ryan's today when a guy around his 50's checked around my XFIREX and told me how beautiful the car is. I was flattered and replied with a smile saying " Thanks and it is a great car indeed ". I've had my XFIREX for 7 months now and I'm still getting this good comments everytime I drove it out from its crib

Last week some guy told me my car had 800hp. No joke. I told him I didn't think it had that much power and he said I was wrong. He did think the car was pretty cool though.

I was coming out of the bank walking up to my car getting ready to get in. Two totally hot college girls in an Acura were driving by. The Acura stopped and the driver looked right at me and said "nice car buddy".

That alone was worth that months payment.

Ok another one, going through the drive thru at the local McD's, the girl says "what is that, a Porsche?"

Ok how about one from a long time ago when I had my Trans AM. I was walking up to my car in a parking lot and two hotties were walking right by it. One of them takes her hand and runs it right across the rear spoiler and says " I'd give anything to drive a car like this". I inquired if I could take her up on that. The rest is a blur.

I know there are more. Can't think of them right now. It's early.

I had to explain it to him that it wasnt ... he still looked rather confused... this was months back... before the whole BOOM of them in Michigan ...

Default Malibu Hook-up Comments from Saturday

Imagine this ---14 coupes, 1 roadster pull up to the infamous Rock Store, the weekend home of hundreds of motorcycles and some of the craziest Harley Riders in Calif.

And all I could hear is "HOLY ****" !!! Those cars are "Bitchen"...

Then we pull-up to the intersection of Malibu Cyn road and Pacific Coast Highway, 2 abreast, 7 deep... sitting at the light waiting to turn left is an SUV full of "Surfers" still dripping wet from the beach. They freaked out. giving us about 12 simultaneous "Thumbs-up" all try to stick their heads out of the passenger side of the car at the same time...

I'm sure the other members of the Malibu Hook-up will have more anecdotes as we were turnig heads and causing quite a distraction for nearly 100 miles.

Damn, I wish they would stop selling these cars right now !!!!

I was cruisin' last night when a ricey Honda was tailing me and was shifting lanes in my both sides. I thought he wants to race so when he was right next to me..I zoomed up leaving him behind after which I slowed down on the speed limit. He zoomed right next to me and shouted " I LOVE YOUR CAR ! " then took the center lane to turn around. I smiled and wave at him...I felt sorry though that I misjudged him thinking that he meant a have a race, instead, he was chasin' me because he wants to give his compliment on my XFIREX

A couple days ago I had a guy in a black SL55 AMG give me the thumbs-up at the stop light, then roll down his window and tell me how much he loved my Crossfire. Talk about an ego boost!

worst compliment - three different women - "cute car"

rule #1 for woman - never call a guys car "cute"

rule #1 for men - if a girl calls your car "cute" it is pretty easy to strike up a conversation about not calling a guys car cute.

I went to the Atlanta chapter of the Lambda Car Club meeting tonight. I pulled in and all heads turned. I wound up backing next to a NEW 2005 Porsche 911 (997) brought by a Porsche rep. It's a gorgeous car.....the perfect 911.

Well, well it seemed that the Crossfire drew just as many admirers as did the Porsche. Most of the cars were vintage and very cool but my X-fire and the Porsche were the newest that got any attention.....that is until a red Ferrari Challenge Stradale slides up.

Personaly the Ferrari did nothing for me but it is an exotic and it was fairly mobbed.

When people found out the Crossfire was mine they either said they thought it was gorgeous or they wanted to sit in it.

Then like a kid I had it sideways leaving the parking lot....he he!

I live in a small town in the Santa Cruz Mtns. I was at the deli counter in the store and a gal walks up with her two boys (they're about 7 & 8 y.o.) The gal asks - "Is that your Porsche, I saw you pull up." I say, well it's not a Porsche. Then the two boy at the same time go "See mom, told you it's not a Porsche, it's too cool to be a Porsche"

"It's too cool to be a Porsche". That line is freaking AWESOME! I usually get several inquiries a day - yesterday I had a guy over to give me an estimate on refurbishing my couch - he said he's a diehard member of the mustang club. I have a crisp burgundy 1969 Mach I sitting covered in my driveway, and he talked about the mustang for a few minutes. Then he started asking questions about the crossfire, and he was so impressed with it. He called it the coolest american car since the Buick Grand National!

Had a yound lad take a picture on the way home tonight. Went passed in the back of his parents car, and took one on his mobile. They pulled infront of me, and I went to go past them, drew up along side and popped the wing up, his smile was massive !

I''ve had the car for a week now and it's unbelievable how this car turns heads. I was going to class at University of Miami and as i'm parking a hot blonde pulls up next to me and asked me "What kind of car is that?" I proceeded to tell her it was a crossfire and then she asked me "Do you want to go have some drinks?" Needless to say I missed the class I was there for... lol.

The day I got it I was going to my softball game and when I turned into the park I was going through a speed bump. When a car with a couple of guys is coming the opposite direction, the driver completely turned around to see the xfire and forgot there was a big speed bump coming up. He left his front lip there on the street. He didn't say nothing but it was funny as ****....

1. "What's that thing got, a V12 or something?"

2. "Can you make your spoiler go up?"

3. "Now that is a nice piece."

I was confused for a second on that last one but soon realized that PIECE means CAR in some cultures.
