Crossfire on TV last night
Re: Crossfire on TV last night
Just to clarify, when I said other exotics, I was refering to the lambo's, rare C & D type Jaguars etc, not the crossfire .......didn't mean to start a war .....just pointing out it was there, amongst all those money cars.
Anyway I guess not many people saw it ........

I happen to be proud that my car displays a Chrysler emblem, even if it's the only thing that was "assembled in the US" on the car. I'm not going to debate Webster's definition of exotic, or compare its looks to anything else. I love my car. I'm not about sticking out like a sore thumb and have been razzed for going plain Jane on my vehicles - not replacing decals after a paint job that give away what's under the hood. A little mystery is attractive.
Now, back to the original thread subject - no, I missed that, but does anybody remember the episode of Family Guy when they were in Vegas and there was one zipping through the casino ??

Ive had my car mistaken for a sebring twice from the same person, a "cadillac" more times than I can remember... someone told me its porshe looking. Most of which after, I turned and walked away. Never once have I had someone say its an exotic..... The closest reference was that it looks like a space ship, which I agree with

I was wiping my Red roadster down in a mall parking lot two years ago after rinsing it off at a car wash.
I had the top down, had it all shiny and looking wonderful, when three teen boys drove by in a F150 and one said, "Nice car - is that a Bentley?"
I hollered back, "No, it's esstentiially a Mercedes SLK with a Chrysler logo on each end..."
The answer, "Yea, well, it's still a nice car."

My SRT-6 was displayed on the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway Auto Fair for three days last month. Andrew made up Daimler Phantom logo's for the front and back to cover over the Chrysler emblems. Some called it a Kit Car and some said Daimler must be a new import car company. Squirrel Crusher

My only Bentley encounter was nearly 5 years ago.

Even if I was insanely rich, I don't think I would ever own an exotic car. I might splurge and buy a new Acura NSX (when they come out).
But the Bently coupe has always intrigued me, and it's one exotic car I might consider.
Personally, I've always thought it had a subtle "Family" resemblance.
to the XF.
