Default Heater/Blowers Tempremental - Help Appreciated

Here in the UK, mornings are currently between -3* and +3*c and the heaters are extremely useful

Mine are very inconsistent, normally I have to put the level up to '5' and then drive for a few minutes before they come on, normally they dont work as they should? Any ideas on what this may be.

Thanks for your help in advance as always guys

I always wondered why there was never any heat getting to my feet in winter? Finally found that turning down the flow with the rotary dial on the dash vents forces more air to the floor. Now my my cold puppys are hot dogs It only took me 5 years to figure that one out!!!! Hope that helps.

Don't feel bad as I just realized the same when setting my selector to defrost the front windows.

The airflow was so weak to the windows, it took forever to defrost in the Florida humidity, even when the fan was turned to MAX.

Once I closed the Dash vents across the board, it pushed air to the windows like a banche, and worked as it should.

The car was barely driveable in wet, hot, humid weather before this...

Sounds to me like you might need a blower resistor - look for threads about this in the forum. I needed one and found it on ebay for a little over $50.00 I hope this is what you need...
