Default The Crossfire Next Door

Escrow just closed on my house a couple days ago (yippee!) and I was going in for the final walkthrough, when I looked a couple houses up the block.

[Cue swelling love theme.]

There she was, in her shiny graphite paint job. I looked at her, and she... well, she just sort of sat there next to the curb. She was a car, after all. It's not like she was going to flirt back at me.

The first Crossfire I've seen since I got mine (not counting the pack of them at the hook-up), and I go and move in practically next door to it. I'm not sure if I should feel like part of an exclusive little club of two, or like someone just showed up at a party wearing the same dress.

Awesome!!!

With a little time and encouragement, I'm sure they will become good friends.

And don't forget all of us when you send out the wedding invitations!

Congrats on the new house and budding friendships.

We had a "garage sale" last weekend and a customer mentioned that he would take what was under "curtain #3" (my covered Crossfire) in my three car garage, to which my wife responded "It's a Chrysler Crossfire" and he replied "Yes I know, we have two"!! - Word is getting around.

CCrossfire - I would give anything for a 3 car garage. You must be pretty lucky.

 Am slightly worried that you guys and gals over the pond are starting to collect XFs. Who really needs 3 of them? Apart from the cost of Upsolute Chips, K&N filters etc., you would get a few spare wheels in case of punctures, but that seems expensive to lil'old me. Do we need a poll to see how many XFs we have/desire each?

By the way, how much did you sell your garage for?

I'll bet the price was low. It was the delivery charge that was a killer!!!!

BTW, I am really happy with just one......

$142.40 US was our total take (garages are cheap in Florida 8). Mostly power and hand tools that I no longer need. Lucky? Maybe, my other two "cars" are a 1986 Toyota Tercel Wagon and a 1995 Volvo Wagon. Going from either to my Crossfire is simply awesome and makes me appreciate the Crossfire that much more.

CCrossfire... I know what you mean. My other car is a '94 S-10 4x4. Going from that to the Crossfire is like stepping into a new world. as for the garage, I just talked my wife into a third stall on the garage for the Crossfire. And she agreed. Gotta love that woman.

well, since you asked, then yes, perhaps another x-fire would be a good idea. i keep 3 identical pool cues in a kind of rotation so i've always gota spare but just one extra crossfire would do nicely, thank you. put it over there next to the bike.

dan...does that garage come with delivery?
