Default Carry-on Luggage

Has anyone used the wheeled suitcase for a carry-on on a flight? It's a good bit bigger than what I have used as a carry-on in the past, and was wondering if anyone has experience with how well it fits in an overhead bin.

It doesn't fit in any of the little sizing racks for what's able to fit in the overhead, at least not the ones I've tried. I usually just gate check it and tote my laptop onboard with me.

used the carry-on over the holiday weekend to and from NY via Spirit Airlines. It is at the upper limit for carry-on size but fit in the overhead storage "Like A Glove" It's really made well and holds enough personal stuff so as to avoid the need to ckeck baggage for short trips.

And eliminates enough overhead space to make 2 people sit on their laptop for the short 3h trip to the next Hub airport............:-(
I whish the airlines were a lot strickter on that little "test bin" next to their gates.
As a "very" frequent traveler these ever growing carry-ons are really p****ing me off. The boarding process takes for ever, because there is always the one guy that rolls down a "weeks worth" of carry on and then blocks the isle for 5 minutes trying to figure out how to stuff it in somewhere.

Ok now that I have vented go ahead and take the beautiful luggage on your next flight. Seeing how it belongs to a Xfire...I won't mind at all :-)

You and me both, pal. What also pisses me off are the people who can't carry the damn thing the final 10 yards to their seat, and bang into my and everyone else's knee while they wheel it by.

Are people afraid of a little physical activity once in a while?

And all the inconsiderate dorks that place small items, i,e, backpacks, vacation bags, camera bags, etc. in the overhead bins using valuable CARRY-ON-LUGGAGE space. Those items belong UNDER THE SEAT! Even the flight attendents announce this to boarding passengers, but of course most don't listen.

Just venting back! Standing around a turnstile waiting for your checked baggage, that may even be lost, is a pain in the you'all know what!

No kidding. Being a flyer on average once a month to somewhere, I point it out to the gate and counter folks EVERY time... "Why do you bother having that if you aren't going to enforce it?"

grrrrrrrrrr
