English Bob. no need to worry about back tires. I caught a piece of plastic in the side wall, no way to repair. Had to go to a high performance car shop but got a new one for 245.00 balance and fitted called them in the morning they had it in by the afternoon. Plus these type of garages know how to deal with the massive rims. I would never let the discount tire places attempted to deal with rims this size.

Ouch, 245 for one tyre!!! That is a bit much. I hope I don't need a new one soon.

Yep, they are an expensive tire here in the US too. $486.00 mounted and balanced out the door. I had an eight day wait back in Jan for one to come in. None in stock anywhere, was told it was shipped from France. I think I'll be going with the Goodyear F1 series at half the price when it's time for new tires.

I price them here last week they were under $400,i'll check again! The pilots are concidered the best!!So for a $100 more per i'd stick with them! You can buy mods that'll do nothing why not buy the best tire if you can?

Dan Root,

Where did you check the price at? I know the price is supposed to be coming down but the tires are in still in short supply, at least here anyway. I'd like to stay with the Michelin's when the time comes, if the price is right and they are readily avalible. Most of the cars being sold in Phoenix now come equipped with the Conti's. I wonder if Michelin is getting out of the XF business?

Have your dealer check this TSB, might help with that rattle:

I think this could have been designed better so that the seats could recline/move back a bit more.
If you wanted a smaller fuel tank, sure. The fuel tank being in that area, unless they stretched the whole car it'd be pretty difficult to move that "firewall" any further back without sacrificing already miniscule trunk space.

Check the old threads on "Lamborghini" style doors (that open "up" instead of "out"). Maybe you could be the first to try it, since nobody seemed willing to be the guinea pig at the time :!: :?: :!:

I agree and I disagree!

For those who don't like the Crossfire and it's quirks, then I suggest you do something like what I did. BUILD your own to suit your specific tastes and needs like my 65 SHELBY GT350R.

When you're done you will appreciate what it takes to build a car! Trust me I know. And by the way, the $40K for my Crossfire was a BARGAIN compared to what it has cost me to build my 65!

Relax, go for a ride and enjoy what you have. It's more car than most get for $40K......

Ok the dealer took care of the rear hatch rattle. Looks like when I picked up my new weber grill I knocked the actual "latch" out of wack. They adjusted it and now it closes properly. This wasn't the previously posted "rear noise" issue.

Hmmm...Lambo doors...that would be awesome.

Just saw the post from someone who painted most of the chrome parts on his car black. Looks good but I'm undecided about that.

1-Yes 2-NAH 4-5-6-You must be fat, 7-would look bad on exterior, 9-NAH, 10-Yes, 12-Nah
My only complaint the angle of gas pedal. TO vertical.
Yes more Lumbar support.
Cars are like a women. You can't have it all your way.
I got out of a 2003 Porsche Carra and LOVE this machine.
