What is the powertrain warranty on a 2005 Limited?
What is the powertrain warranty on a 2005 Limited?
Is there a way to determine by VIN when you have coverage until?
Anyone ever call Chrysler and get info?
I am reading 7/70 in a few places but I never knew about it.
Does anyone have a link to where this is officially stated?

Your owners manual should tell you...............or your window sticker if you have it. If not, as noted before, you can either go to a Chrysler dealer and have them look it up or you could call them. I'm not sure of any online look-up service to determine what the warranty is by VIN but there may be one. I know my 04 had a 7/70. Newer years may have had something different. I know they changed the warrantees over the course of several years. Good luck.

I have a 2005 Limited with only 35k miles. Our Powertrain Warranty has already expired. I got a letter from the dealership last year. So I guess it was more like a 6/60 plan.
Really makes me wish I was a wealthy man in 2009 to buy on of the last ones with the Lifetime warranty. It would have been my daily driver.

I was wondering why the Checker cabs didn't have a comeback in the form of the Chrysler 300. Or why rental centers were not filled with Chrysler product.

Have you ever read something official from Chrysler that says it's limited to the value of the car?
So far on my 07 (72,500 miles on it now) the LPW has paid for new valve covers (>$1K) & rear diff leak (>$400)....
You didn't have to be rich when the LPW was being offered.....they were dumping them big-time....about 1/2 price. It was a 2 fer 1 sale!!

Lifetime Powertrain Warranty
There's nothing in this that says it's limited to the value of the vehicle?

Re: What is the powertrain warranty on a 2005 Limited?
Chrysler used to have a web page where you could enter your VIN and find what was remaining on your warranty. The link no longer works.
Your dealer can check online. I always ask them to check if I need work done. Just had my water pump replaced on my extended warranty for a $100 deductible.

Re: What is the powertrain warranty on a 2005 Limited?
This past summer I purchased a 2005 crossfire from a chrysler dealership and have first hand knowledge of the powertrain warranty.
Only 2 ways to get the warranty;
-1st owner has a lifetime powertrain warranty.
-2nd owner has a 7/70 mile powertrain warranty if the transfer fee is paid at time of purchase. (roughly $140 transfer fee)
Not sure if all the 2005 crossfire powertrain expires at same time or if it starts from date of orginal purchase however mine is good untill March 31, 2012
Since my purchase i used it twice with $100 co-pay to fix fluid leaks. Both valve cover gaskets and a transmissions leak forget the name of it but it looks kinda like a D sized battery.
**** EDIT I noticed i made an error on the date mine is good untill March 31, 2013

I purchased my 04 in April of 05, and it's going out of warranty this April.
I guess it's time to let it go.
