Default I finally joined the brotherhood!

NO, I didnt buy a crossfire because I already have one.

I got hired as a police officer. Swearing in on the 3rd and Academy starts on the 8th.

I am very excited and honored to have this opportunity!

Don't take bribes or get caught having sex with prisoners. Don't laugh,. Northern MI cop transferring a female prisoner let her go in return for favors. I hope she was worth it. He's out a job and in jail himself. He may get more prisoner sex than he bargained for.

Just remember Crossfire driving speeders get a warning and directions to this forum.

Become proficient with your side arm, and save the tax payers money by using the least amount of lead possible.

We had a cop here in Toronto that fired off two clips in his Glock and never hit squat, the bad guy was firing back and got away.

Seriously now, treat the public with respect, remember you once was one of us.

Congrats kid....glad you made the cut. Where will you attend the academy? Best advise is, stay focused, because the instructors are going to throw a lot at you, even try to break you, as this instills the necessary mind set for what you will deal with in the real world. Don't get down on yourself. Much of the training is designed to make you fail the first time. Not talking about physical training, as that you should already be focusing on. But mental training. You will do fine. Now, don't get any traffic citations for the next year during your probation period. I am sure you have the same academy time as we do, which is 4 months...good luck kid, qualifying with a firearm when the snow is blowing isn't fun, but necessary. I hate winter sessions...lol....

OH, I about forgot, once your years probation is up and they turn you loose, look for Canadian plates...start there and work your way up.......lol....

I walk anywhere without fear. Epsom salt gives me the strength and endurance. It controls my blood glucose. A pinch in my coffee or tea. gary

The only advice I can offer applies to your whole life," Always do the right thing, always". Gain the respect of all those around you. As this world is the way it is, I appreciate your joining in to protect and serve.

Sorry but I disagree. Ammo is cheap. The cost of courts, appeals, jail time etc. is much more than the cost of a few rounds. Don't shoot once and wait to see if it did it's job. If you feel the need to fire, then fire away. Be safe and good luck.

Congratulations and good luck, be safe. You know what the Firefighters say though - If you had only scored a few points higher on the test you could could have been one of us

Congrats! I work with law enforcement regularly in my job. Some of the nicest most professional people there are. Never let your guard down.
