Default Braking Problem

Question & an FYI ... Last week I had to slam the brakes due to a car in front of me. When I did, 5 or 6 of the warning lights on the instument panel lit AND the spoiler raised.

I pulled to the side of the road & shut off the car. Waited about 30 seconds & fired it up. The warning lights DID NOT stay on. But, I had to lower the spoiler with the switch. Two days later the same thing happened. But this time I was pulling into a parking space going maybe 5 MPH.

The car has been at the dealership for 2 days. They were able to replicate the problem THREE TIMES. But, are still trying to figure out the cause. Has anyone had this problem? (I hope the Xfire techs read this). Any advise appreciated.

if the spoiler control circuit fails for any reason the spoiler will raise, this could be a lose connection or electrical fault.

sounds like one of those mysterious CAN bus or Body Control Module problems Jamikest had talked about previously.

Default Dealer figured out the problem

Well guys, the dealer called today (after 3 days of diagnostics). It seems to be the ABS module (I think that is what he said, anyway). Does that sound right? They ordered the part & expect it to arrive on Mon (or Tues). Hopefully it will be fixed that day.

i could have understood a brake fluid light coming on, due to the majority of the fluid rushing to fill the lines attached to the brake calipers, (more than usual) thus showing low fluid and the indicator coming on. But other indicators are harder to explain.
