The dealer told me the hood prop leak oil and soaked the TCM that is located on the passanger side of the car. Is this possible?

Don't think so, the hood prop is on the DS of the car and is under the hood, the TCM is located in the passenger side footwell, and is inside the car. I call BS, but someone else may chime in, and prove me wrong ....it's happened before

Thats what I thought. I went to the dealer and the hood is up as well. Is there a lock on the prop?

there's a lock that allows you to open the hood 90 deg, but if it was just open the 'normal' angle, and was being held by the prop, then I don't see how it can have lost any oil ?

Just goes to show you the dealer knows NOTHING about your car.

Have them explain how the "oil" traveled to the passenger side floor.

PLEASE post their response here. We could use the laugh!!
