Default Cheap Cargo Cover ...

DSC02452.JPGOK ... It is virtually impossible to find a Chrysler Crossfire cargo cover, and even if it can be found, the cost would be mucho $$$. I found this "sun shade" on ebay for about $12.00 shipped from China. It is retractable, and altho it doesn't retract caompletely, it'll do. It is made of plastic sheeting and covers enuff of the stuff in the hatch area to prevent seeing whats in there when the hatch is closed. Granted, it is not as durable as and OEM unit, but it works. It attaches with wire ties to the 2 buttons on the back wall and hooks in front.

You could always get the rear window tinted. I did 35% sides and 15% rear, and it is difficult to see inside the rear plus it really dims the beams of those idiots in SUVs who seem to like to tailgate small cars. The side and rear windows cost about $130, so just the rear might be 1/3-1/2 of that. More than $12, but definitely looks nicer and is more functional and neater.

Yes I know about the tinting, but with my older eyes, I'm a little hesitant about anything that would cut my vision down thru the windows. As it is now, we could have a "scenicruiser" on our quarter rear, and not see it, because of the blind spots. We all use our rear and sideview mirrors religiously (at least I do), just to check what's going on back there. Some of us have installed rear view cameras to help. I'm not sayin that the tinting is bad, just that I didn't think it right for me. Just my $.02
