Stolen luggage
I don't think so. Chrysler sends it directly to your house via FedEx. Actually, it isn't Chrysler on the return address - it is a marketing company. Some people have received theirs in about 10 days - others have waited over a month, I believe. The marketing company must "batch" their orders or something.
You have a very "early" vin number. How long have you been waiting?

Only if that were true. Someone at the dealership used my name and placed somebody else's address on the order form and had FedEx deliver my luggage to someone else's house. I only found this out after I called the number that was posted on this site for the luggage. When I called and gave the information, I was told I had already received and signed for the luggage! I said,"What?" It seems whoever received my luggage also forged my name on the FedEX registered receipt. After talking to the girl at the luggage help desk, she gave me the other address where it was sent, I drove over and found a new vehicle in that person's driveway with dealers tags and the dealerships logo name on it. I contatced the dealership who claimed they didn't know anybody that lived at that address.
Crossfire Luggage
I recieved my luggage in less than 2 weeks. The dealer HAS to send in the delivery date information to Chrysler. Until that happens, no luggage will be sent. Your dealer is the holdup. The toll free luggage number does work, and that is the info that I was told. When I called one week after I took delivery, "Crossfire Luggage" already had my info.
If you don't get satisfaction from the dealership, go to Chrysler - and as high up as you have to go in the corporation. Also, local radio stations and local newspapers have investigative programs and would love to tap in on this. Get your luggage, even if you have to leave a few bodies along the way!!
I am in the process right now to get my luggage any way possible. I was sent to talk to someone at Corperate, by the Luggage Hotline, and they claim they were sorry but couldn't help since I had already received and signed for the items.
I have made several calls to the Luggage Hotline and FedEx. FedEx is very unhappy about it. I have found the tracking number, gone to the FedEx Internet site and downloaded a copy of the forged signature and false address where they delivered the luggage.
I am totally surprised and disappointed that Chrysler Corp. has left it up to me and this worthless Five Star Dealership to work out, when only one of us is trying to find out the truth.
They managed, somehow, to get my address correct on where to send for a payment!!!!!!!!!

Woah, woah, woah...
Back the truck up.
This is forgery, and Mail Fraud. Both Federal Offenses. Have those rotten SOBs locked away in a cozy, intemate little cell with a burly serial rapist who would be happy to share their luggage.
Call the cops. Also, don't all post offices have places/contacts to report mail fraud?
And, while waiting on satisfaction, go there with a package of sandwich bologna and poka-dot that dealer vechile one dry warm evening... on second you might want to ignore that suggestion.

The Luggage Fairy has magically appeared at my door step and left me a package after I got home from work.
Strange, but it's an opened box with my name and somebody else's address on it, and a FedEX tracking number that I seem to be on familiar terms with. Box was just left with no apology or explanation.
The girl at the Luggage Hotline, called the dealership and asked about my luggage. She was told they had ACCIDENTLY made a mistake!!!! All crooks say something like that when they get caught. Just tell me," How do you make a mistake when you have to sign my name to get it?"
If this should happen to anyone else, for anyone interested: Police will not arrest them, Law will not prosecute them. What a wonderful world.
