I paid 25K for my 2005 base coupe new back in august of 2005. I went around to 6 or 7 dealers and that was the best I could get at that time. They had some SRT's new on the lot. Never bothered to check them out because I wasn't a fan of the fixed spoiler and I wanted a stick shift. They also had a high price tag so I never even asked about them to see what they could do on the price.

It's quite a commitment going after a car that far away. I have to trust that this guy say's it's "mint".

I would consider an SRT6 Roadster but they're all either too high mileage or too expensive.

I'd have to fly 1100 miles to pick it up.
It's a 6spd in mint condition except some curb rash on 2 wheels.
I forgot to ask if there's road salt there but it looks like it's been sitting unused in a garage.
Opinions welcome.
Thx

I bought a 2005 Roadster last June, after doing a lot of online research. It has higher mileage than the one you are looking at but I paid $10,400. The previous owner had traded it in for a Cadillac and the dealer just wanted it off the lot. The dealer knew next to nothing about Crossfires and I actually had to demo the car to him. While looking for that Crossfire, I saw many others in the 12K to 15k range so I would say shop around.

I started shopping for my roadster last fall. Over a period of 3 months I saw dozens of cars that just sat on dealers' lots. I worked a deal in late December on a base model in Virginia with 12,000 miles, manual transmission and 7/70,000 drivetrain warranty for $13,000, but passed on it because of the hassle of going to get it. A week later I found my Limited with 5000 miles for $14,000. It was only an hour and a half away from home.
Be patient.

Justa little FYI. there are car transports that are cheaper than airfaire. If you like the car call an auto transport and they will meet the car at just about any dealer and transport the car to your car dealer of choice or in some instances and cross street, and meet you. Cost is about half an airfaire of about RT gas fee. I did that to get my wifes car over from casper WY to Bose ID, only $225. much cheaper than air ticket one way. BOI-DEN-CAS $360.
