Help! - General Xfire Info
Hi Folks~
As some of you may know, I'm being forced by illness to sell my Xfire. Thank you for all the kind comments and support I have received.
The (sort of) good news is that I have a fellow interested but he is asking a couple of questions I don't know the answers to and thought I would ask here.
When I purchased my '05 coupe in 2009, I was told it had lowered ride height, and a rear diffuser kit. Was the diffuser an OEM option (or standard on the Limited model) or is it an after-market thing?
Also, what was the original warranty on these cars, and would it still be in force as I am the second (or more) owner?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help! - General Xfire Info
Pictures would help. If it has the OEM diffuser kit, it was a dealer installed option, not from the factory.
As for the warranty, stop by any Chrysler dealer with the VIN and mileage. They can print out what warranty is left, what can be transferred, and what can be purchased. Most transferrable warranties have a fee to them, but still worth it.
Most original factory warranties are only tranferrable to a second owner, not a third, unless additional coverage was previously purchased.
Good luck with the sale and your health. James

Re: Help! - General Xfire Info
I purchased my roadster new and went through the "option" list. Defusers were aftermarket. The only stuff I knew about from Chrysler were the bra, the wind deflector, and the cigar humidifier. Heck, there were only a few vehicle options: auto or manual, two tone seats, navigation radio, and all-season tires.

Here are a couple of shots of the diffuser.

Those are the dealer installed diffusers by Mopar. They do fill in the void that Chrysler left on the back underside. I am not sure about the "lower ride" option.
I am curious what you found out about your 5/100 warranty being transferrable?
