What size hose is that?
Hey all, I posted this comment and question several days ago and got no repsonse (which is not typical of you all). So I thought I'd re-post with an attention grabbing post title. Maybe that will help. lol.
I finally got to removing my EGR valve and in the process I noticed one of the vacuum hoses to the solenoid assembly is exposed to a lot of heat and it seems to be degrading from the heat. I just wanted to alert you all to that little issue. Also, I want to replace the hose and need to know what size it is and what it's made of. Does anyone know what size that hose is?

I have not messed with mine either. Take the hose off and take it with you to the auto parts store. Most stores sell the hose by the foot off a spool. Match it up.
If the area seems to be extreme, upgrade the vacuum hose to fuel line if they have the correct size. Fuel line will last longer and has internal braiding.
